Course Description:
The Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure course is a 1-day course that was designed to help students learn the benefits of using the Google Cloud Platform.
This course provides an overview of Google Cloud Platform products and services. Through a combination of presentations, demos, and hands-on labs, students will learn the benefits of Google Cloud Platform and how to incorporate cloud-based solutions into their business strategies.
Topics covered in the course include:
- Purpose and value of Google Cloud Platform products and services
- Interacting with Google Cloud Platform services
- The ways customers use the Google Cloud Platform
- Choosing from and using application deployment environments on Google Cloud Platform: Google App Engine, Google Container Engine, and Google Compute Engine
- Choosing from and using Google Cloud Platform storage options: Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud SQL, Google Cloud Bigtable, and Google Cloud Datastore
- Using BigQuery, Google's managed data warehouse for analytics
